Burn an Image in Windows 7

Q: I got an iso file to let me reset Windows 7 password, it should be burned to a disk, but how to make a disk from the file?
An ISO is a file that contains the complete image of a disc, it is often used when transferring CD/DVD images over the Internet. Once you have an ISO image on your hard drive, you can burn it onto a CD or DVD using one of many ISO-burning software packages.
In Windows previous versions, to burn an image, you need a burning program. Now in Windows 7, the software is not needed any more. With an image file in iso or bin format, and a computer burning device – burner, you can burn it on the CD or DVD or USB that’s inserted in the drive.
Here is how:
• Insert a blank CD or DVD in your computer drive.
• Open the image file (usually double-click). Windows Disc Image Burner dialogue box appears.
• Select the drive the blank CD or DVD is in.
• Check off Verify disc after burning and then click Burn.
• The image will be burned and verified.
• Click Close if you’re finished, or burn another copy of the disk image.
Warning: To create a CD or DVD from an ISO image, you must burn the actual ISO image onto the CD / DVD, not just copy the ISO file to the CD / DVD.
